Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus

I'd like to welcome you to the Whitehall Pentecostal Church. Our church was founded at this location by the former pastor, Tom Meadows and his wife, Marie Meadows. They began having church at this site on June 22, 1963. At that time, they purchased and renovated the old Gross Elementary School building that had been a public school for Owen County Indiana from the early 1900's to the mid 1900's.

The church building sits among the rolling hills and valleys of southern Indiana making a beautiful postcard-perfect rural scene. In the summer, you will see tall trees, lush fields for cattle grazing (complete with cows and horses), green carpets of well-groomed summer grass, and friendly neighbors out working in their yards. They will probably watch and wave at you as you go by. The fall colors and the winter snows only add to the beauty of the Whitehall area.

What is more beautiful than the scenery is the way that the Spirit of God moves inside this country church. The worship is lively, the music and singing is anointed, the preaching is fiery, and the teaching is thorough and Bible-based. You will just as likely hear a sermon about the sorrows of sin and hell as you are to hear about the joys of salvation and heaven. But you will experience the love of God, a touch from God, and love shared by caring people.

Most importantly, we hope to honor Jesus Christ in all that we do, both in activities as well as our services. Jesus cares about people and can provide those people abundant life. We seek to provide abundant opportunities for people to meet Jesus, the giver of that life. Come and experience Jesus with us.
